Crystal Castles went amazing well. Though I am the Concert Director, this was really Bradley's project. So direct all kudos to him for organizing the show and dealing with all the things that went wrong. Since this went so well (some people told me it's the best event they've been to at Bates in a long time), I expect that the station will recieve more funding next year, which means more music, more shows, and more FUN!! Sweaty, sweaty, fun...

I've been thinking about writing a post about how a lot of new music these days recalls the 1980's hardcore and punk scene. I also went to a Yeasayer and Man-Man show this weekend. Both bands were amazing live, and while Man-Man was much more zany and energetic than I expected, Yeasayer almost floored me at one point with their performance. If you get a chance to catch their current tour together, DO IT.
